Raquel Aguilar- Growth Starts Here

Created and taught Growth Mindset curriculum to elementary aged students at the Boys and Girls Club.

Samantha Beck- Connecting Through Controversy

Developed and taught a lesson over civil discourse to five different eighth grade classes at Jarrett Middle School.

Designed and installed an outdoor classroom and garden at  Mark Twain Elementary School. 

Samantha Duke- Viking Voters

Designed and taught a mini-lesson about the importance of voting and civic engagement to freshman and eighth-grade students. 

Jace Ellis- The Future of Fine Arts

Planned a fine arts night with Parkview students hosted in the Parkview auditorium. 

Kailoni Gash- Masking America

Constructed and donated 255 face masks to three community organizations in Missouri.  

Hunter Goodman- Laws for Paws

Worked towards the creation of an IOS and Android app to educate users on how to stop animal abuse. 

David Haden- Care for the Kitchen

Initiated a staff fundraiser at Parkview High School to acquire essential items for The Kitchen, a local homeless shelter.

Liam Hampton- Streamfield Public Schools

Organized and hosted cleanups of Fassnight Creek, Jordan Creek, and South Creek in Springfield, Missouri.

Jacob Johnston- Paving the Pathway

Designed a canvas course to help students navigate options after high school. 

*Tiffani Leach- Pressures of the World Around Us

Designed and hosted a youth conference teaching teens how to cope with daily pressures.

Chance Levings- Cars for a Cause

Hosted a car meet at JFK to help raise money and awareness for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. 

Brynn O’Riley- Positively You

Developed an exercise and body positivity class for mothers and daughters to celebrate each other. 

Kamari Ouck- Voices for Change

Designed Voices for Change shirts, bracelets, and a mural to support the Black community; proceeds were given to the NAACP.

Cheyenne Preiner- Pennies for Patients

Created three separate fundraisers for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise awareness and money for children and families in need. 

Alexandra Ramirez- Breaking Through

Designed and implemented lessons to support ELL students at McGregor Elementary. 

Bryanna Simaytis- Diving In

Produced a podcast to inform and entertain listeners with interviews and anecdotes on teen life. 

Kaley Swanigan- Back the Black

Created fundraisers, promotions, and advertisements to support local Black owned businesses. 

Audrey Vaughn- Ms. Vaughn Gogh’s Art Class

Hosted an art club at Mark Twain Elementary for 5th grade students.

Mikaela Whalen- Paint n’ Pour

Held a paint night for students and staff to encourage creativity and relieve stress.
